What you’ll accomplish:

·         Build and maintain respectful, meaningful, and collaborative relationships with Indigenous peoples, communities, and leaders impacted by or interested in OCI’s operations

·         Ensure respectful and inclusive communication with Indigenous peoples, and support their participation in economic opportunities through workforce and business development initiatives

·         Develop and lead engagement strategies for OCI’s operations, exploration activities, and projects

·         Lead the development and implementation of short and long-term CSR strategies that align with OCI’s corporate values and business objectives

·         Oversee the implementation of Collaboration Agreements with Indigenous peoples and communities

·         Facilitate Indigenous participation in OCI activities and support cross-functional initiatives related to business development, employment, and education

·         Develop and implement Engagement Plans tailored to OCI’s operations and community relations

·         Oversee CSR policy implementation and ensure all internal and external reporting requirements are met

·         Mentor, develop, and lead team members to foster an effective, innovative, and positive team dynamic

·         Manage budgets, donations, and scholarship programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and community needs

 

Skills and Qualifications (External Group Publication - https://www.orano.group/jobs/en) - 2000 characters max

·         Post-secondary education in Indigenous Studies, Economic Development, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field is an asset
·         Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within Saskatchewan’s Indigenous communities
·         Demonstrated ability to build trusted and effective relationships with Indigenous peoples and diverse stakeholders
·         Excellent understanding of the importance and requirement of Indigenous Consultation and Engagement in relation to ongoing activities and new projects
·         Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
·         Demonstrated experience in managing comprehensive engagement programs
·         Demonstrated passion for fostering meaningful relationships across diverse cultures and regions throughout Saskatchewan
·         Patient, adaptable, and committed to amplifying diverse voices in decision-making processes
·         Ability to build and cultivate positive working relationships while inspiring and motivating teams to succeed
·         Highly organized and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines
·         Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a wide range of stakeholders, departments, and projects
·         Upholds high ethical standards and demonstrates integrity in all professional interactions
