Orano, we’re not just powering the future—we’re engineering its foundation. As part of our groundbreaking uranium enrichment IKE Program, we’re redefining what a sustainable nuclear fuel production looks like for the next generation.

We're seeking a Licensing Engineer to support the IKE Program nuclear licensing and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing license applications and amendments, ensuring compliance with NRC, DOE, and DOT regulations.

You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with elite engineers and regulatory experts, moving fast, solving hard problems, and making decisions that have real-world consequences. If you're ready to lead at the edge of what's possible in nuclear technology, we want to talk.

Objectives:

• Prepare and submit license applications, amendments, and renewals in accordance with NRC and/or DOE regulatory requirements (e.g., 10 CFR 70).
• Support the preparation of License Application, Environmental Report, and Technical Justifications.
• Interpret and apply federal regulations, regulatory guidance (NUREGs, RGs), industry codes (e.g., ASME, ANSI), and Orano policies to licensing actions.
• Track, manage, and respond to Requests for Additional Information (RAIs) and ensure timely and technically sound submittals.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, legal, and project management teams to ensure licensing alignment with design and operational activities.
• Maintain knowledge of changes in nuclear regulatory policy and assess their impact on Orano’s U.S. licensing strategy.
• Support internal audits and assist with regulatory inspection readiness.
• Ensure consistent documentation and traceability for all licensing activities and communications.
